FAQ How do I receive my files? Files will come as digital downloads. The files are H.264 mp4 files in 1920 x 1080. Due to the ease of copying digital downloaded files, returns/exchanges are only accepted in the case of malfunctioning files. Please contact us at the email above if you have any problems with your downloaded files, or have any questions before purchasing.
How would I even use these files?
Pretty much any surface can become a creepy multimedia experience! You can use anything from your television or computer, to your front window!! Turn your flat screen television on its side to create a "living" picture frame or "cell door" window. Project the image on to your garage door, wall, or ceiling. Even string up some scrim/fabric and create a floating image in your doorway or yard!!!
What do I need to get started?
It depends on what you want to play/project your file onto. If you want to play it on a television, you will need to either place the file on a DVD and then play it with your DVD player, or hook a compatible device that plays digital files (computer, media player) directly to your television. If you want to project it onto your window/any other surface, you will need a player, (computer, DVD, media player, etc.) a projector, and material to project the image onto. You will find some additional info below on projectors/materials.
Equipment recommendations?
It's hard to be specific, since every application has different requirements. If you are looking into projectors, one of the most important things to consider is brightness or "lumens" in projector-speak. Shoot for at least 2000 lumens if you can. Another important thing to consider is throw distance, or how far away the projector needs to be to create the desired image size. Darker rooms and smaller images help less powerful projectors produce clearer images. Do a little homework before making the jump. You want to make sure the projector will work for your purposes.
You will also need something to project the image onto. They sell professional material, but things such as your blinds, a white bed sheet, or white shower curtain liner work for many peoples purposes. May be worth giving a cheaper option a shot before dropping more money on a pro set up.
Keep in mind your loop is only 30 to 90 seconds long. if you want to "loop" the file continuously , make sure you have a DVD or media player that has that functionality.
